The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy, leading to professional registration, along with a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to take up a full time position as a Principal Lecturer (Nursing) to lead a large team of nursing lecturers and senior lecturers. Applicants will need to possess a Registered Nurse qualification and have extensive experience in academic leadership and curriculum development.
The successful candidate will join an established senior leadership team, supporting the Head of School in the development of new courses and new curricula. You will have a strong record of working with partners and stakeholders and have excellent project planning skills. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution as well as education to doctorate (or equivalent professional qualifications/experience), including a teaching qualification is essential.
You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career and research portfolio. Salary is dependent on experience.
