We are seeking an active practitioner with an established profile in photographic practice, curation or editorial. Applicants should be qualified to Masters Level, or of equivalent professional status and be able to demonstrate the ability to embrace the key debates framing the transformation and location of photography in contemporary culture and society.
The successful candidate will undertake teaching and curriculum development supporting the field of photography within the Department of Media & Communication and be actively engaged in professional practice, applied research and income generation in the broad area of photography.
The post-holder must have specialist knowledge of new/emerging modes of photographic practice, e.g. the utilisation of Open Media, the Web, social media and digital workflow models.
