The team at The Centre for Research in Psychology, Behaviour and Achievement at Coventry University (www.coventry.ac.uk/crpba) is looking to recruit two skilled, enthusiastic and committed Research Assistants for three years in the first instance, to work across a range of projects and activities within the research centre. The centre conducts research into literacy, atypical development, violence and interpersonal aggression, identity and resilience, and brain, belief and behaviour. Successful candidates are expected to have the skills to be able to contribute to projects in at least three of these areas. We are specifically interested in recruiting one research assistant with excellent interviewing skills and experience of applying qualitative (incl. discourse-based) research methods, and another who has interest in, and experience of ,working with atypical populations, including individuals who experience autistic spectrum disorder. These roles will require flexibility and sensitivity, as well as excellent project management and communication skills.
