Due to continued student growth, the School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences seeks to appoint an outstanding lecturer in Forensic Investigations. The post holder will contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within Forensic Investigations. You will join a highly regarded, student-centred team of colleagues in delivering our Forensic Investigation courses. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated lecturers to contribute to teaching, assessment, curriculum development, and recruitment and admissions within Forensic Investigations. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from applicants with professional and academic experience and research interests in investigative interviewing and the ability to teach a broad range of topics within Forensic Investigations including research methods and dissertation supervision.
Your teaching approach will be flexible, student-centred and research informed. As the role will also require you to develop and maintain productive relationships with placement providers, employers and other stakeholders, you will need a high level of inter-personal skills, and personal effectiveness to promote a high quality experience for all our stakeholders. You will have a strong commitment to continuing professional development and to inter-professional and international perspectives.

The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences has strong partnerships with employers and placement providers from a range of sectors including public, independent, voluntary and private sectors. You will be given opportunities to develop your research interests and be expected to contribute to Faculty's research profile.
Applicants must have a relevant Master's degree or a PhD in an appropriate subject and experience of delivering in an educational setting.
