Coventry University’s Resolution, Information and Legal Services team is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive Registry Officer to join our busy and growing team. The post holder will support the Information Governance Unit by proactively managing a busy workload, including processing of, and responding to: data subject access requests, freedom of information requests, other requests for information (from both internal stakeholders and external third parties), assisting with data protection impact assessments and compliance reports, responding to data breaches and general queries. In addition, this role will provide general guidance and training in relation to Information Governance policy and procedure, contribute to process review and undertake project work on behalf of senior Information Governance Unit staff. The Registry Officer will communicate with stakeholders across the Coventry University Group as well as external parties, playing a key part in ensuring the organisation meets its information governance obligations.
