As part of our ambitious growth strategy for research and our plans for future developments around teaching and learning, we are committed to growing our European activities further. This senior role based within our Brussels office will focus on increasing the size and scale of those activities.
With your knowledge of the political environment of Brussels and your experience of effective working with policy makers and influencers, you will develop and implement our strategy for engagement, influencing and informing relevant European-level politicians,policy makers and organisations to match the long term goal of increasing the impact of the University within the European arena.
Your ability to develop and manage significant partnerships will see you representing the University group at relevant senior level meetings and supporting the Vice-Chancellor, Group Leadership team and the University Leadership team with engagement activities in Brussels.
An experienced manager, you will lead and manage the Brussels office including facilities, staff recruitment, performance management and training/development. This post will require significant travel around Europe, as well as time spent in Coventry,developing internal relationships.
