The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic and experienced individual to work as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer within an established team of academics, delivering education in relation to pre-hospital and emergency care. Teaching activity will primarily contribute to our highly regarded BSc in pre-hospital and emergency care (an online course) and Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice(delivered face to face).
Research activity is an integral part of the School's business and there is a strong commitment to enabling staff to engage in a wide range of research and scholarship. You will be given opportunities to develop your research interests and are expected to contribute to the Faculty's research profile.
The post is a three year, fixed term full time position. Previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based educational programmes would be advantageous. Ideally, applicants will hold either NMC or HCPC registration and must have a relevant Master's degree or a PhD in an appropriate subject. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for Lecturers who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
