Assistant Professor in Dietetics
Job description
The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registered dietitian to work at Assistant Professor (senior lecturer) level within an established team of academics delivering dietetics programmes at undergraduate level and our Public Health Nutrition programme at masters level. The Assistant Professor
(senior lecturer) post is on a 1 year fixed term basis. Applicants should posses an excellent understanding of evidence-based dietetic practice.
Previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based dietetic programmes is an advantage.
The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual .Job descriptions will be available upon request from the Human Resources Department when applying for the post.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for Lecturers who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
