The Cleaning & Domestic Services team is part of Soft Services, Operations & Maintenance, which sits within the Estates Department of Coventry University Enterprises Ltd. The Domestic & Cleaning Services team provide a full range of customer focused cleaning services meeting the growing needs of the University. These services will include cleaning of all University sites and University managed facilities as well as deep cleaning using specialist equipment.
The successful applicants will have a proven record of accomplishment of providing excellent customer service, and experience of working in a housekeeping or commercial cleaning role. You must be able to work on your own initiative and demonstrate an ability to prioritise tasks. Effective communication, orally and in written form is an essential attribute for this post. You will be expected to have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
The shifts available are as follows:
06:30 – 10:00 = 17.5hrs per week
16:30 – 20:00 = 17.5hrs per week
Posts are permanent subject to a probationary period, and the successful candidates must demonstrate willingness and the ability to work outside normal working hours when required on a 5 over 7 working arrangements.
You will be required to work at premises which the University currently has or may subsequently acquire or any premises at which it may from time to time provide services.
