The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing
The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University is one of the largest in the UK and is nationally and internationally renowned as a centre of innovation for its teaching, learning and research of computing
subject areas. The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is one of three schools within the faculty and has a very successful suite of courses supported by excellent staff, teaching facilities and laboratories. The school is responsible for the development of a thriving portfolio of teaching and research.
The School of Computing Electronics and Mathematics is looking for a new Associate Head of School Enterprise and Innovation to drive the development of commercial activity within the subject areas of the school: Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Digital Technologies, Data Science, Mathematics and Statistics. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and experience working with industrial partners. They should show good leadership qualities and be able to manage change within the school.
Additional to enterprise and innovation activities in the school, the Associate Head of School will assist the head of school in the day to day management of the school and liaise with stake holders internally and externally.
The associate head of school position consists of a four-year secondment and external candidates will be offered a substantive position as Principal Lecturer.
