Coventry University has seen huge global successes in recent years and provides high quality education to our students. The University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2019), we were awarded Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (2017) and have been named as University of the Year for Student Experience (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019). More recently we have been awarded QS 5 star rating for our online provision. As part of our goal to become one of the UK's leading universities we are therefore investing in people to drive our excellence in teaching and learning and looking for talented individuals who share our passion for teaching and supporting learning.
As the largest School in the University we have a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic and Physiotherapy all leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels. Due to our continued success and growth the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is looking to appoint motivated and enthusiastic and experienced individuals to work as a Lecturer or Assistant Professor within an established and supportive team of academics, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate education in relation to non-medical prescribing.
All posts are full-time and substantive (subject to a satisfactory probation period). Previous experience of teaching educational programmes would be advantageous. Applicants will need to hold either NMC or HCPC registration. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career including support to develop and facilitate teaching for online courses.
