IT Services (ITS) provides the main development and support for IT related services to the University and is expanding its provision to match the growth in the University. A key part of this is supporting and developing the University's Network infrastructure. As a Network Engineer,you will be CCNP qualified and educated to at least undergraduate level, or with equivalent experience, you will have significant knowledge of networking/communication technologies and protocols.
In particular, you will have proven experience in several of the following:designing and configuring large IP data networks; installing Cisco hardware and software; network troubleshooting; IP network security; Cisco ASA/FWSM; CiscoWCS/WiSM; Cisco IPT. You will demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and levels of customer care and have the ability to work constructively within a team and with a wide variety of people.
