The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels including Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical prescribing. Coventry University is placed 12th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2017) and the School has achieved 94%overall for student satisfaction (NSS 2017).
We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to take up a full time position as a Lecturer in Midwifery. Applicants will need to possess a Registered Midwifery qualification.
Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is desirable but not essential and your application should detail your area of clinical/teaching experience and expertise.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
