The School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences seeks to appoint an experienced Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology. The post holder would contribute to the provision of high quality psychology teaching and research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and take the lead on new course developments. You will join a highly regarded, research active and student-centred team of colleagues in delivering our Psychology courses.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated lecturer to contribute to teaching, assessment and curriculum development within the School. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from applicants with course design and course leadership experience. Your teaching approach will be flexible, student-centred and research informed. As the role will also require you to develop and maintain productive relationships with placement providers, employers and other stakeholders, you will need a high level of inter-personal skills, and personal effectiveness to promote a high quality experience for all our stakeholders. You will have a strong commitment to continuing professional development and to inter-professional and international perspectives.
The School is recognised for the high quality of its provision of applied and professional courses. This includes a broad portfolio of on-campus, off-campus, blended and distance learning courses both discipline and profession specific. You will be given opportunities to develop your research interests and be expected to contribute to Faculty's research profile.
Applicants must hold a PhD in an appropriate subject and experience of delivering in an educational setting.
