We are now looking to appoint one 1.0FTE Lecturer in Psychology (Occupational/Business Psychology) to join our highly regarded Business and Occupational Psychology (BOP) team of academics. Within this role the teaching load will predominantly focus upon our portfolio of MSc degrees in Occupational/Business Psychology, however the successful candidate will also contribute to the range of BPS accredited Psychology courses offered by the School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences. Contributions to the undergraduate provision over the next few years will likely involve online course development as a key priority.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced academic and/or practitioner with a demonstrable track record in Occupational/Business Psychology. Experience with online course or training development is desirable. You will be a confident and clear communicator with a high level of inter-personal skill, and personal effectiveness to promote an outstanding experience for all our stakeholders. You will adopt a flexible approach to your teaching and be committed to delivering the highest standards of student experience.
Applicants must have a PhD in an appropriate subject and experience of delivering in an educational setting. If from a Professional Practice background, applicants must have a good Honours Degree, and a Masters degree), and appropriate professional qualifications and/or membership and/or equivalent professional qualifications that might be considered as equivalent to a PhD.
Coventry University offers academic support and professional development support and provides the opportunity for staff without a recognised teaching qualification to undertake the PGCE.
