FULL-TIME, PERMANENT
The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic Senior Lecturers to support a small but growing team of academics to deliver education and research in the field of Independent and Supplementary Prescribing. For the past ten years, the University has been at the forefront in developing and delivering accredited and non-accredited and validated education in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing, thus contributing to national workforce development. We use a range of teaching approaches to deliver our programmes such as face to face delivery in the classroom and online learning, sometimes a blend of both.
The applicants must be a registered health professional with a prescribing qualification; we would welcome applications from AHPs and Pharmacists. There is also an opportunity to teach out of our Scarborough Campus. Previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based educational programmes would be advantageous. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for Lecturers who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
Informal enquiries should be addressed to Alison Bardsley (Senior Lecturer) 02476795880
Interviews will be held on 30th October
