Games Art Demonstrator
Job description
Part Time (0.5 FTE)
Coventry University is looking to appoint a demonstrator in Games Art to provide related skills teaching. Located within the School of Art and Design in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, the Games Art course will operate alongside the School's well-established areas of illustration and animation.
The successful candidate for this
position will have knowledge and experience of the Games Art industry and the current technologies that underpin it. They will have an appreciation of Industry standard 2D and 3D programmes (e.g. Maya, 3DS Max; Toon Boom, TV Paint, Adobe Creative Suite) as well as Unity and Unreal game engines.
The post holder will ensure, and contribute to, a high level of technical provision and specialist knowledge and support to students and course teams within the University. A degree level qualification is required and experience of working in a training and / or teaching environment would be advantageous.
