As the largest School in the University we have a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing (all four fields), Nursing Associates, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice,Paramedic and Physiotherapy all leading to professional registration. We alsohave a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels. Due to our continued success and growththe School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is looking to appoint a registered nurse who will be able to take up the role of Course Director for the Nursing Associates Foundation Degree.
The individual will work within an established team of academics and need to have a good understanding of the Nursing and Midwifery Councils new standards of practice andquality previous experience of teaching HEI based educational programmes wouldbe highly desirable. The post is at the level of assistant professor (senior lecturer) and is a permanent full time position. Applicants will need to hold current NMC registration. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post GraduateCertificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests inorder to progress your career including support to develop and facilitate teaching for online courses.
