The School of Life Sciences is continuing to expand and optimise its impressive portfolio of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. We are looking for a Lecturer to join our dedicated team, on a fixed term basis, to deliver our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes with expertise in at least one of the following biological sciences subject areas: biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, genetics or haematology. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and be able to contribute to a high quality learning and teaching experience.
Within their subject area the appointee will be required to: design and curate learning materials; develop and conduct active online and onsite workshops; run practical sessions and tutorials; supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students research projects; contribute to departmental and course administration and curriculum development. Academic leadership, such as module leadership will also be expected from a Lecturer.
