The School works with partners globally, with whom we offer international experiences through teaching and research-related activities to both staff and students,and we have a strong commitment to the internationalisation of our curricula.To further support our growing international portfolio of collaborative activities, the School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to take up a full-time position as Senior Lecturer in Psychology (International). Applicants will need to have experience of supporting academic international partnerships and curriculum development (with a focus on internationalisation and intercultural competencies).
You will join an established team of academics and report directly to the Associate Head of School, Internationalisation. The applicant will support the Associate Head of School to operationalise and expand the schools international strategy to include: acting as and supporting link tutors for our transnational education (TNE) provision, support delivery of Flying Faculty, to actively seek to increase course capacity with existing providers, embed online international learning (OIL) within our courses, facilitate Erasmus activity within the school, develop internationalisation within our curricula and support the corporate targets for international student experience and field trips. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution as well as education to doctorate/higher degree (or equivalent professional qualifications/experience), including a teaching qualification is desirable.
Additionally,you will be a highly motivated and experienced psychologist with a flair for internationalisation and a student-centred focus. You will be a confident and clear communicator with a high level of inter-personal skill, and personal effectiveness to promote an outstanding experience for all our stakeholders. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates with teaching and/or research interests in cross-cultural or transcultural psychology and/or education, and mixed-methods research skills.This post will involve frequent international travel.

Applicants must have a relevant Master's degree or a PhD in an appropriate subject and experience of delivering in an educational setting.
