Coventry University's Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience (CAWR) aims to drive innovative transdisciplinary research on the development of resilient food and water systems throughout the world.
Grounded in the traditions of political ecology as well as environmental science and justice, CAWR's policy research explores the complex interaction between economics, politics, technology, society and the biological environment, and seeks to identify enabling policies and institutions for the development of equitable and resilient food systems through agroecological transformations.
This new post is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to play a leading role in the development of transdisciplinary research on agroecology and agriculture policy within the Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience (CAWR). In particular, the post-holder will lead the development of funding proposals and the delivery of research projects within the theme of 'Policies and Institutions for Resilient Food Systems'.
The post holder will actively contribute to the strategic direction of the Centre and for some periods, will work on his/her own initiative with limited supervision from the theme leader.
The role also requires active dissemination of research results and a commitment to delivering high impact research both individually and as part of the team.
