Coventry University is seeking a Research Assistant to work in the Centre for Intelligent Healthcare. The Centre aims to become a globally recognised research centre for pioneering and opinion-setting research in the area of digital healthcare and its contribution to improving communities and enriching and prolonging individual lives.
The post-holder will work within the Abuse, Trauma and Health theme supporting the delivery of the ‘Multi-disciplinary Evaluation of Sexual Assault Referral Centres for better Health’ (MESARCH) project. This study represents the most extensive evaluation of SARC services to date. Using a range of methods and wide stakeholder engagement, it is generating much-needed evidence of the impacts of abuse and different services on the health and wellbeing of adults and children who receive support from SARCs. The work will include conducting structured and semi-structured interviews over the phone, via Teams and in person with SARC service users. Ability to work on site at the University or at home (subject to COVID-19 public health guidance) with due regard to the sensitive nature of the research is required. The post is a fixed term, part-time position.
