Working in the School of Energy, Construction and Environment you will be committed to contributing to the continued success of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Quantity Surveying and Construction Project and Cost Management. You will join a School with high levels of teaching quality and student satisfaction in the 2016 National Student Survey and a commitment to enhancing our research activities through "Excellence with Impact".
You will have experience of using IT software systems in Quantity Surveying and preferably the wider application of Building Information Modelling across the construction industry. As well as teaching and course management activities you will be expected to contribute to applied research activities of the department with a possible focus on procurement and costing strategies for low impact buildings (see http://www.coventry.ac.uk/research/grand-challenge-initiatives/low-impact-buildings/).
Applicants from academia will have experience and success of delivering high-quality teaching. Applicants from practice would be expected to demonstrate experience of training/mentoring and a portfolio of relevant project and professional experience that can be used to inform the teaching and learning experience of our students.
