The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy, leading to professional registration, along with a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels.
We are seeking to appoint a Principal Lecturer to join the Senior Leadership Team in the School. Working closely with the Associate Head of School for Quality and Accreditation, the Strategic Practice Education Lead and the practice education leads across the professional teams, this post holder will lead the external engagement with NHS and non-NHS placement providers to develop, enhance and quality assure practice learning provision for School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health students in practice. Experience of working collegiately across external organisations, professional boundaries, with service users and carers, our students and with a range of health and social care providers is essential.
The successful candidate will join an established senior leadership team, supporting the Head of School in ensuring the delivery of high quality practice learning provision for Coventry University students in practice. You will have a strong record of working with partners and stakeholders and have excellent communication and project planning skills. Previous experience of leading partnership groups/forum and contract management is highly desirable.
