We are seeking an outstanding professional to join the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE) at Coventry University. Although ICTE is a Centre within the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), it is also tasked with the development of entrepreneurial activity across the CU Group. ICTE’s focus on transformational entrepreneurship blends a wide range of services and products that encompass education, research and support to assist students, staff and businesses to be more entrepreneurial.
The individual will play a role in teaching, learning and assessment within ICTE. Core requirements include that the candidate should possess a PhD in a subject relevant to the discipline of Entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enterprise and entrepreneurship, which can be evidenced in recent teaching experience in a higher education context and a relevant and growing research profile. Applicants should evidence research enriched learning and good pedagogic practice.
Candidates will be expected to bring an innovative and entrepreneurial flair to their teaching and research. They will be expected to participate in and/or lead on educational programme / module development and in research groups. Therefore, the person must have a flexible approach to work, be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally. She / he should be self-motivated, an effective communicator and able to work as an individual and as a member of a team. Although this is primarily a teaching-focused role, the candidate will also be involved in research projects and required to supervise students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
