The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer to support a small but growing team of academics to deliver education and research in the field of Teenage/Young Adult Cancer Care. For the past ten years, the University has been at the forefront in developing and delivering accredited and non-accredited education in Teenage/Young Adult Cancer Care in collaboration with national charities such as Teenage Cancer Trust and clinical experts from the field, thus contributing to national workforce development. We use a range of teaching approaches to deliver our programmes such as face to face delivery in the classroom and online learning, sometimes a blend of both, which are delivered in various locations nationally. Our unique programmes are of national and international interest to professionals who work with this age specific population.
Previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based educational programmes would be advantageous as would Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Care experience.
The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for Lecturers who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
