Coventry University is an outstanding University with a reputation for excellence in Teaching and Learning and agrowing research profile. We are currently ranked 12th in The Guardian League table. With ambitious plans and targets for growth and engagement with industry Coventry is implementing an innovative and exciting strategy to expand and develop its Postgraduate taught (PGT) provision. We have key strategic targets in all areas of PGT relating to employability, teaching quality and growth. As part of this strategy we are now implementing the introduction of a bespoke taught module to all our PGT courses in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) to embed inter-disciplinary working and employability.
Working with the Dean of Post Graduate Studies as part of the Post Graduate Strategy Unit (PGSU) within the Vice Chancellor's Office this role is being created to drive forwards and implement this exciting strategy. With a focus on high quality teaching and learning at Postgraduate level this post is one of a number of roles in the PGSU, supporting the Dean. This post is a dedicated academic role to support the delivery and development of the CMI module working with an established team of Faculty based academics reporting to the Senior lead in this area.
