The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is looking for a lecturer in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.
The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University is one of the largest in the UK and is nationally and internationally renowned as a centre of innovation for its teaching, learning and research of computing subject areas. The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is one of three schools within the faculty and has a very successful suite of courses supported by excellent staff, teaching facilities and laboratories. The school is responsible for the development of a thriving portfolio of teaching and research. We offer undergraduate degrees in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Computing, Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity, Games Technology and Data Science. Our postgraduate courses include Data Science and Computational Intelligence, Computer Science, and Cyber Security.

We are interested in expanding cyber security team in the areas of Digital Forensics, however it is expected that the successful candidate would also be able to teach in some of the following areas:
You will be responsible for the delivery and support of learning, teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will work closely with the course teams to help provide the high-quality learning environment our students expect. This is a teaching focussed position, although there may be some opportunity for research for a suitable applicant.
Applicants should hold either a PhD in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related subject, or if coming from a professional practice background, a good honours degree and appropriate professional qualifications and/or membership. Experience of working in higher education will be very useful and good programming skills are required.
You will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything you do and will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge of your area of specialisation.
