Working with UK-based FutureLearn, which has over six million learners worldwide on its collaborative learning platform, the University is planning to launch its first Master's programmes in early 2018. The roll out of 50 online degrees over the next five years will deliver world-leading programmes, accessible to thousands of new distance learners across the globe.
The creation of supporting infrastructure within a new, dynamic and innovative business will be pivotal in helping the University Group develop and deliver courses online through a devoted 'Studio', as well as providing dedicated support in key areas such as Marketing, Admissions and Student Care. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Web and Social Media Officer to look after the digital activity of our online degree programmes.This is a rare chance to play a key role in planning and creating digital content for Coventry University Online. You will be experienced in setting up websites, social media and/or online platforms. With your demonstrable experience of working in a dedicated marketing environment, you will be able to deliver innovative social media and online solutions for a complex organization.
You will be able to use online channels to produce interactive, engaging and dynamic digital content, so you should be able to prove your experience of writing digital content for a range of target audiences. You should also have the ability to monitor the effectiveness of that content and change it accordingly.
This role will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager (Online Learning) and will work alongside the wider digital team, including the University's central marketing operations and digital teams. You will be required to work closely with our Content Management System and must have experience of writing/amending HTML code.
