An exciting opportunity has become available for an aspiring academic leader to become part of the Systems Security Group at the Centre for Future Transport and Cities (CFTC) and develop research on aspects of autonomous systems including sensing, connectivity, security, safety and trust. S/he candidate will have an international reputation in (any one or more) areas of cybersecurity, transport, critical and national infrastructure (such as power and grid systems), with an emphasis on trust, resilience, security or safety, which they will continue to develop. S/he will contribute to a combination of research, scholarship, teaching and/or enterprise, along with academic leadership and management. The post holder will be expected to develop new concepts, ideas and collaborations at an institutional and national level. S/he will develop and win funding for innovative research and/or commercial activity and be expected to enable research-led teaching. S/he will contribute to a global academic community driven by international scholarly activity, international knowledge generation, knowledge exchange, networking, partnerships and collaboration.
