The Research Centre for Global Learning are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor to work as part of a small, dynamic team, leading on a range of research-related activities which will contribute to GLEA’s future success. This post will sit within the Global Learning: Education without Boundaries research theme, which focuses on global/local internationalisation, examining inter/cross/transdisciplinary research and pedagogical practices across a diverse range of education spaces. The team also address the intersections of decolonisation, digitalization, co-creation and creativity, to influence policy and practical implications for educational reform.

The post of Assistant Professor will contribute to bid writing, working on research projects, supervision of research students, publishing research results, and creating impact. Additionally, the successful applicant may be involved in the development or running of new research-focused postgraduate programmes.
The successful applicant should hold a PhD and demonstrate significant research experience in a field relevant to education, including income generation (either as lead or as part of a team), publication profile and project management skills.Detailed requirements for applying for this position can be found on the job description below.
