The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is one of three schools within the faculty and has a very successful suite of courses supported by excellent staff, teaching facilities and laboratories. We offer undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Mathematics and Statistics, Mathematics and Physics, Physics, and Data Science. We are interested in expanding the mathematics, statistics, and physics team in the area of Mathematics and Physics. The ability to teach 1st, 2nd and 3rd year modules on applied mathematics and physics is essential for the position. You will be responsible for the delivery and support of learning, teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will work closely with the course teams to help provide the high-quality learning environment our students expect.
Our ideal candiadte will hold a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics or Physics. Experience of working in higher education will be very useful and good programming skills are required.
You will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything you do and will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge of your area of specialisation.
