The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and ambitious HCPC registered Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic team of academics delivering excellent and visionary pre-registration occupational therapy courses. We have been successful in growing our provision and due to recent promotions within the team are seeking to recruit 3 academic posts to work within our team supporting to prepare our learners for practice.
You will be joining an outstanding team of over 40 occupational therapists, and we offer a range of courses including BSc, MSc and Integrated Degree Apprenticeships in Coventry and London. Our curriculum area continues to develop offering educational delivery across the whole career pathway and now includes AHP Return to Practice, Enhanced Clinical Practitioner and Advanced Clinical Practice e-portfolio routes. The successful applicants will be working within a diverse curriculum focused on personalised learning, research inspired teaching and strong partnership working with our partners.
Lecturer – Academic Team Part-time (3 days) fixed term
For the Lecturer post, applicants should demonstrate a wide range of clinical experience, with evidence of engaging in the education pillar through supporting learners and delivering education sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain learning and teaching experience in an academic career. The role will include the delivery of modules, academic assessment, and learner support in practice and university settings. You will work alongside our experienced course teams for the BSc fulltime and apprenticeship route, supporting curriculum transformation and enhancement.
Our occupational therapy team are one of the largest in the country and work collaboratively with a wide range of health care professions within the Faculty of Health and Life sciences and now benefit from new, ‘state of the art’ health science simulation facilities, a £60M+ investment.
