This position is located within Student Services reporting directly to the Director of Student Services. The post holder will be expected to make a significant contribution to the Student Services Leadership Team in relation to enhancing the student experience, increasing student engagement and ensuring consistent service excellence across all areas of Student Services.
The post will contribute to and support Student Services in the key areas of:
* Strategic and operational development, planning and implementation at University and departmental level
* Project management
* Performance measurement and continuous improvement
* Effective partnerships within Student Services, the University and with external stakeholders.
The post holder will be a key contributor in enhancing the quality of the University's student experience. The successful applicant will have the ability to contribute to the Corporate Plan by creating, promoting and linking their own Business Plan initiatives into the wider University enterprises. The successful applicant will be a key driving force behind the collaboration and delivery of Information Points within the Faculties and a centralised Student Engagement Centre.
Applicants must be educated to PG level and have extensive experience of working in an extremely busy environment. Applicants must have sound IT experience and be able to demonstrate effective team management skills.Applicants must be able to drive changes, manage projects as well as demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
