The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at Coventry University is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced individual to take up a full time position as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Midwifery. Applicants will need to be a Registered Midwife with a teaching qualification, and we are particularly interested in individuals who have broad experience which may include perinatal mental health.
Ideally we are seeking a full time member of staff, though alternatives could be considered. You will join an established and successful team of academics and will deliver on our suite of modules at both undergraduate and post-graduate level, related to midwifery. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is desirable, as well as experience of midwifery practice and research collaborations.
The University offers academic and professional development and for those not holding a teaching qualification provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Certificate. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career and should be willing to undertake international travel. Salary is dependent on experience.
