The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions-related courses across dietetics, nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, operating department practice, paramedicine and physiotherapy, leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at both UG and PG levels. Coventry University is No.1 Modern University in the Midlands (Guardian University Guide 2021) and is home to the UK’s first ‘Standalone’ 5G network.
We are currently seeking to recruit two enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic transformational simulation team to lead, innovate and develop our digital simulation provision, and in particular work on our virtual simulated placements ‘VSPs’. This involves collaboratively working with a range of internal and external colleagues and stakeholders, gathering and collating information and using this information to create realistic digital (screen-based) simulation experiences.
Although a digital qualification is not necessary, applicants will need to possess an appropriate healthcare qualification and must hold current registration with either NMC or HCPC. Previous experience of innovative digital teaching within a higher education institution is highly desirable and the ability to rapidly learn new digital skills is essential. These roles are offered initially for one-year full-time equivalent but a shorter contract may be considered.
The University offers academic and professional development. You will be supported to develop your interests to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
