The School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering is home to around 2600 students and 200 staff and provides many innovative undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as MSc Aerospace Engineering, BEng Aerospace Technology and BEng Aerospace Systems Engineering.
Due to the continued growth and success of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses we are seeking a permanent, full time lecturer with a background in aerospace engineering, more specifically aerospace systems and avionics.
Applicants should have as a minimum a Masters in Aerospace Engineering or closely related subject. Experience of teaching, module management and supervising student project work would be essential. Experience of leading and /or contributing to managing research projects is advantageous as is industrial experience. The ambition to succeed in a competitive arena is essential. Staff must be willing to work flexibly and promote and support international partnerships.
